FREEZE - AGITATE - SIEVE - PRESS
FRESH FROZEN HARVESTS
We freeze the cannabis plant immediately after harvest and a light trim, locking in terpenes. This makes the trichomes brittle and easier to separate from the plant.
AGITATION
Traditional hash making began with a boat oar. While we have modernized the process, the hand mix philosophy remains, with only force and gravity aiding in refinement.
ICE WATER WASH
Water & Weed. It's that simple. Combined the material is agitated using simple force to dislodge the plant's trichomes. Densely resinous trichomes sink while the plant material is apt to float.
SIEVED FROM WATER
A descending series of micron measured mesh bags help to sieve/strain the removed trichomes from the wash water. Trichomes are spooned by hand from the mesh and placed on sheet trays to dry.
DRY & SIFT
Sheet trays of wet trichomes are placed in pharmaceutical freeze dryers, using sublimation to dry the trichomes and prepare them for the press. Once dry, we use a normal kitchen sieve to break up the dried hash.
ROSIN PRESS
Inserted into mesh micron rosin bags, before being pressed, the mesh rosin bags filter any remaining plant materials or debris, presenting us with just the "juice of the peach." ENJOY!
